HOGG RESCUE and HOGG AMBULANCE
The Hogg Motorsport Association consists of 20 volunteers, all of whom are well experienced in motorsport events. Those manning Hogg Rescue had to obtain 8 signatures at major rallies and attend 2 MSA approved training weekends before becoming trainee crew for a couple of years prior to full licensing.
Finance - The team are all unpaid volunteers. When attending events a charge to offset the considerable running costs of the vehicles are made. This however, does not cover the full operating expenditure and support comes from other sources especially Isle of Man MOTORSPORT MEDICAL SERVICES via Nobles Hospital's Rob Vine Fund and Sheila, Alex, Ellen and Shaun Hogg, their family and friends.
Hogg Motorsport attend all the car rallies on the Isle of Man including the Manx National and International rallies. They will also attend all Isle of Man motorcycle road race events such as the International TT, Manx Grand Prix, Southern 100 and Andreas Racing Association as well as Manx Motor Racing Club hill climbs, Jurby circuit races and the Onchan Raceway stock car meetings.
For 12 years they were invited each November to attend the largest car rally in the UK, the Rally of Great Britain and since 2003 have supplied 2 rally rescue ambulances, 2 Doctors and crews for the TOUR OF MULL rally held in October on the Isle of Mull.
Each year, the crew cover over 130 motorsport event sessions.
